Anna Zayas is a passionate and down-to-earth Remedial Massage Therapist who values her professional role of safe touch. Her desire is to see people living life to the full and her approach is to genuinely connect with you and help you reach your goals. She has experience working in a multi-disciplinary physiotherapy clinic and day-spa environments. She enjoys seeing a diverse client base and has worked with children, elderly, mums-to-be, people suffering from anxiety, chronic postural tension, athletes & sports people, ACL injuries, shoulder injuries and more.
She will work with you to find the best pattern of treatment and/or maintenance program to look after your body and mind, enabling you to live with a better quality of life. She believes more pain does not equal more gain and uses techniques that combine an effective pressure with the intention to cause your muscles to relax. She likes to look at things holistically, encouraging self-care and the importance of lowering stress.
Anna also has an interest in primary health care, international aid, camping and exploring our beautiful country. She has spent time living and working in Papua New Guinea, Puerto Rico, Malawi (Africa) and India.
Anna is a member of AMT (Association of Massage Therapists) and has done a Certificate of Pregnancy Massage with Pregnancy Massage Australia, in addition to her Diploma in Remedial Massage (earned through the Australian College of Massage).
